Recently, Roberto was in charge of the technology transformation program at Australia’s largest department store - Myer, where he oversaw the development and execution of a strategic technology program.

Hilary Walton is the Manager Enterprise Business Systems at Airways, New Zealand’s Air Navigation Services provider. She leads the strategy for IT operations and Digital business transformation at Airways. This includes the delivery of programs that maximise the value of Airways data and information and enable operational efficiency through scalable and efficient IT services. She leads the team to leverage our digital assets being delivered through our cloud migration strategy, and further evolve our contemporary technology capabilities.

She also has a background in organisational psychology, risk management and security. She has significant experience from off shore roles – she worked for Mi5 in London and the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games leading the Information Security programme. She has also has written a book on written a book and developed an App on how to develop a Security Culture.

Dr. Claire Barber

With over 20 years of international experience in technology and telecommunications, Claire Barber currently holds the position of Chief Digital Officer at Spark New Zealand.

Leading the Spark Platforms business unit, Claire has developed large teams of specialists in customer experience design, data, technology and product to redesign Spark’s products and services for the digital economy. Claire’s primary focus is leading out on new ways of working to drive better outcomes for customers.

Prior to joining Spark, Claire worked extensively across the Asia Pacific region in various roles for IBM.

Claire holds a PhD in strategy from the University of Northumbria in the UK and she is currently an Independent Director of FNZC.

Mike is ensuring Inland Revenue’s transformation is truly customer centric and that IR realises its goals of becoming an agile, customer centric and intelligence led organisation.

Previously Chief Marketing Officer for NZ's largest bank, with responsibility for all segments and full marketing mix from customer strategy to marketing communications, Mike led the highly successful integration of ANZ and National Bank brands. He enjoys leading and galvanising organisational change, working across businesses to create and drive high performing cross-functional teams and demonstrably deliver business objectives.

Mark is Auckland Council’s Director of ICT. He has been with the council for three years, leading the transformation of the ICT Operations functions and has been the ICT owner of the major consolidation project NewCore – consolidating eight legacy councils ICT systems, including customer and property records, into a single source.

Mark has a diverse background – he isn’t just an IT professional, he has also been the Executive responsible for Supply Chain, eCommerce and Sales within some well-known commercial organisations within the New Zealand market - Warehouse Stationery, Lion Nathan, Works Infrastructure and Fonterra.

Mark lives on Auckland’s North Shore with his wife and two teenage children.

Returning to NZ in 2014, Rachel has been leading business and digital reform across telco, energy, food & beverage, high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, ICT, law, public health, consumer technology products, and education.

Rachel is now Head of Brand & Value at the award-winning NZ technology start up coHired, harnessing machine learning and organisational science to match people to jobs they love. As Deputy Chair of NZ Technology Industry Association (NZTech) and an active technology advocate, Rachel is often invited to speak on leadership, human-technology partnerships, AI ethics, and innovation. She was featured on TVNZ technology documentary What Next? and has been involved with guiding government policy on modernized education and digital equality.
